One Pitch Competition
2024: A mini Draft tournament will be played Tuesday morning (September 24). Primarily an “optional” 3-game mini-tournament for those interested in getting in more at-bats and meeting players from other teams that will become your teammates for a few hours.
Eligibility: Everybody. Players sign up during Opening Day Registration
Registration Fees: $0 - The Ad World Series will pay field rentals and umpires
Time Limit: 30-40 minute games, every player bats
Teams & Captains: Announced at the Opening Dinner Party
Game times will NOT conflict with co-ed games: Provided 3 or more players from your co-ed team choose to play 1-pitch
Draft Order: Pitcher, 1B, Infielders, Outfielders, Females
2023 Champions: Captained by Justin Shultz, Victor Corniel, Debi Hill. 6 teams competed in round-robin play, and 3 teams posted a 3-0 record. The champion was decided by a combination of least runs allowed and run differential. The winning team received medals.
